Nothing will ever be the same after KFC has went and defied the very laws of stupidity by creating a sandwich that even the most sordid of carnival food stalls would be jealous of. Presenting the Double Down, the single most horrifying fast food concoction I have ever seen. It’s essentially a bacon and cheese sandwich, which isn’t too bad on it’s own. I’ve had a few in my time, definitely. It’s just that when I had mine, the bread wasn’t two slices of fried chicken.

That’s right. KFC’s own demented version of the bacon and cheese sandwich totally forgoes the whole idea of using “bread” for the buns, and instead shits out two fried pieces of chicken to hold your life-ending “sandwich” together. Add in a goop of diarrhea that is being called “colonel’s sauce” in the middle and you get a sandwich so scary it very well be the first sandwich in history that would null any life insurance you have if you ate it.

If you’re brave enough to try it for yourself, I’d suggest hauling yourself to the nearest KFC and plunking down $6.99 for the combo meal. Though I’d also suggest you bring someone else to make sure there’s someone there to drive you to the hospital immediately after your body sees what you are ingesting and immediately decides to abort most of your organs out of your face to stop you.
