slide9Something strange happened to Sega in the year or so since they produced their totally badsome promo video for the 32X. Apparently feeling that their promo video to get people hyped up on the 32X may have been a bit too low budget, Sega went all out on the Saturn promo, producing what has to be one of the creepiest/weird/uncomfortable promo videos ever made for anything. Featuring some dude’s freakish head, a bald chick, and at one point a body builder holding the Sega Saturn right next to his crotch, this promo is a mess of bad.

It also doesn’t help that the video focuses on a lot of the Saturn’s western games like that horrible helicopter game (OOH! POLYGONS!) and that piece of shit fmv game starring Tia Carrera. The only high points come in from Panzer Dragoon, and the admittedly terrible launch version of Daytona.

So watch it if you can. I am not going to be held responsible if you see that body builder’s crotch every time you close your eyes for the rest of the day.
