In what must be an effort to make sure I actually have something to write about, the 360 Community continues to suck. Jeremy was very eager for me to review the following game, and I have absolutely no clue why. Perhaps it takes him back to the days of his youth, or maybe he just likes it when I play the game while I talk to him on AIM and just curse for 10 minutes straight.

So yeah…this is Barf and Beer.

Don’t be surprised when I tell you that this barely passes as a game. This does a fine job of upholding the Community standards of chipping away a few bucks from you for a barely functioning pile of rubbish that you could play on a Flash site for free. The only thing this game really offers is maybe one very very brief laugh at how horrible the vomiting animation is, and also if you like hearing the term “weak sauce” over and over you might consider this the next Ocarina of Time.

Game-play, or what I think was masquerading as it, consists of tapping the A button to drink. Your face will begin to turn green because apparently drinking 1/4 of a beer is enough to bring you to the brink of laughing at the floor. You tap B until you are a normal color, and then continue. You just keep that up while you look at the crude graphics and pasted on faces of four guys who will never live down being in this game.

Oh yeah, you thought you were just getting a drinking game? You are wrong! You get a fighting game as well! Push the stick to throw a “punch” at one of your opponents. That is all.

Only the consummate alcoholic who enjoys all things drinking related would dig this game…or immature and nothing-happening frat boys who are probably doing the same activity in real life while they play it. Perhaps they even have a drinking game made up for this drinking game, or a drinking game for the drinking game they made up for this drinking game. The sad and pathetic possibilities are endless.

Sorry for the rambling, but when I spend 45 seconds playing a game and then can quit knowing I have experienced the entire thing, there just isn’t much to say. Don’t drink and drive, and don’t play this piece of shit.
