Start Your Week Off Right By Roleplaying As A Cat With Warrior Cats
I watch my cat a lot. He fascinates me to a degree that other people would probably find scary. I enjoy watching him do the things he does, and I like to even try to figure out why he does those things. Like, why exactly does he feel the need to stare at the wall for forty minutes straight? And what exactly goes through his mind right before he realizes everything on my dresser is the bane of his existance, and knocks it all into a pile on the floor? I try to understand, but alas I just cant. It’s still pretty fascinating though.
One thing I have never wanted to do though, is be him. As much as I love my cat, he does not seem like the most exciting thing in the world to be. After all, his most strenuous activity most days is to throw up the food he just ate. That’s just me though, as it seems the folks over at Warrior Cats seems to totally dig the idea of role playing as their favorite cat. It’s as exciting as it sounds:
Rosey: Skykit–*lifts head and looks around*
Rosey: Skykit–*yawns revealing tiny white teeth*
Rosey: Skykit–*curls into a ball and falls asleep*
CrazyCowProductions: (Felix) *stalks in*
I will give them credit, as that is totally the most realistic portrayal of someone role playing as a cat that I’ve ever seen. I also really hope that is the only time in my life I will say that.
Okay, so being a cat isn’t so exciting. So what do you, as the avid role player do to spice things up? You make it totally batshit insane of course:
NEWS ALERT!
The eclipse has happened! But it has taken away all powers from the wolfs,cats,foxes,ect.. that had them! This means NO using powers! It’s part of the prophecy. And do not bother me about this either. If you had powers you are now a regular one like the rest of us until the prophecy cats can get them back.
OH SHIT THE ECLIPSE! You know, as soon as I hear the words “eclipse” and “magical powers” in the same sentence, it’s time for me to be done with whatever is happening. Not so much because it’s dumb as hell, but mostly because I just instantly picture some thirteen year old kids sitting in their room, trying to make up something that seems totally mystical and cool to them. To the rest of us though, it just seems like they’re young and stupid and haven’t gotten to the point where they can’t advance past a Goosebumps book in terms of imagination.
Sadly, I think that probably describes what we have here pretty well, too.

Hey, is that me? X3 As Skykit? Awww thats so cute!! I think I remember that…
