capture12The 32x was an abysmal failure for Sega, and possibly the most high profile game console…thing to ever fail on such a grand scale. At the end of it’s half a year life cycle, the 32x featured about 40 games, an install base so low it was almost laughable, and a retail price that plummeted faster each week. It was a pretty horrible thing to watch.

What isn’t horrible to watch is this amazing promo video that was sent out to many Sega fans via mail. This VHS was here to extol all the amazing things the 32x was going to be about, while pumping so much early 90s edginess into you that your hair almost spiked itself while watching it. This is Sega at it’s finest, and yet worst.
